Rabbi Moshe Gantz
Moshe Gantz, married with children, resides in Woodmere, NY. He is the founder of “Mezuzah Doctor,” a company established over 30 years ago with the mission of raising the standard of STaM by exclusively sourcing Sifrei Torah, Tefillin, and Mezuzot from certified scribes. Moshe specializes in the halachot of mezuzah placement (הלכות קביעת מזוזה) and has personally inspected over 250,000 mezuzot, discovering that 95% of homes have improperly placed mezuzot.
Passionate about preserving and sharing the sanctity of STaM, Moshe is dedicated to educating and assisting the Jewish community by sharing his expertise and mastery in this specialized field. To further this mission, Moshe co-founded KosherKlaf.com, a platform designed to increase awareness of these mitzvot while providing a transparent marketplace for purchasing STaM products. The website includes an educational component, allowing individuals—from novices to experts—to deepen their understanding of these sacred mitzvot and improve their observance.
Rabbi Yishai Sarig
Rabbi Yishai Sarig is married and the father of eight children, residing in the settlement of Yitzhar in Samaria. He holds the qualification for city rabbinate from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel.
Rabbi Sarig is certified as a scribe (Sofer) and proofreader from the Mishmeret STaM Institute and by the late sages, Rabbi Goldberg ZT"L and Rabbi Eliezer Damari ZT"L, as well as, with distinction, from, Rabbi Yaakov Verheftig Shlita. In the field of STaM (Torah scrolls, tefillin, and mezuzahs), he studied under his father, Rabbi Amotz Sarig Shlita, and also Rabbi Zalman Nechemiah ZT"L and the former Sephardic Chief Rabbi, Rabbi Eliyahu Bakshi Doron ZT"L.
Rabbi Sarig is the author of the book Shirat Shiloh, which discusses all the laws of STaM in the sections of Orach Chaim and Even Ha"ezer. His book has received approbations from many rabbis, including, Rabbi Zalman Baruch Melamed Shlita, Rabbi Shlomo Moshe Amar Shlita, and Rabbi Avraham Tzvi Cohen Shlita, rabbi of the Hasidic community in Bnei Brak, and Rabbi Menachem Yehuda Gross, head of the Kodesh Institute for STaM. Rabbi Sarig teaches halacha in the field of STaM to rabbis in Israel and worldwide.
In addition to his expertise in STaM, Rabbi Sarig authored a book on kidney donation from the living and is involved with kidney donors and recipients through the Matnat Chaim organization.
Rabbi Sarig is well-versed in the ways of halachic decision-making in various rabbinic courts and is consulted for writing Torah scrolls and providing advice to prominent rabbis from both the religious Zionist and Haredi communities
Joseph Miller
KosherKlaf is led by Joseph Miller, who also operates Shaimos LI (Shaimosli.com). Through his work in shaimos disposal, Joseph saw firsthand the sheer volume of pasul mezuzot and tefillin circulating in the market.
This experience sparked a mission to move away from vague labels and bring “Radical Transparency” and technical excellence to the world of STaM.
Joseph is the editor-in-chief of WOAP Press (woappress.com), which has published numerous seforim from prominent rabbanim. He also runs the “Interesting STaM” WhatsApp group, manages the STaM Blog, and develops educational programming for shuls and schools.
