𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐚 M𝐞𝐳𝐮𝐳𝐚𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐨𝐝’𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐬𝐫𝐚𝐞𝐥 — 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥... 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐨𝐧.

That’s not a joke or metaphor. In the mezuzah shown above, the sofer (scribe) mistakenly wrote:
"על הירח" (al hayareach – “on the moon”)
instead of the Torah’s correct ending:
"על הארץ" (al ha’aretz – “on the land”).
This stunning scribal mistake not only distorts the meaning of the pasuk, but renders the entire mezuzah pasul (halachically invalid).
❌ 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬
Pasul by definition: Any deviation from the Torah’s text disqualifies a Mezuzah.
